Jean enjoys painting and drawing women and is well reknowned for her studies of nudes. She tends to sell more of her seaside paintings however her ability to paint women in strong vibrant colours has attracted many people to hang them on their walls.

Sir Alan Ayckbourn, a Scarborough based playwright, owns many of Jean's painting including a commisioned potrait of his wife - Lady Heather Ayckbourn, speaking about his collection of Jean's work he recently said:

'As the owner of some of Jean's paintings I have long been an admirer of her work... I like to think she enjoys my plays almost as much as I like her paintings '

Jean's paintings of women have been the talk of a lot of people as her work ranges from traditional potrait type work to more provocative work of women painted naked or partially clothed.
