Over the last few years Jean has completed several community projects in and around the Manchester region. Her projects include working with the Women's Refuge and Manchester Youth Offending Team .

She has also worked several schools in the area on projects lasting from a day to several months. Work has included projects both indoors and out. Hadfield Nursery were delighted with the end result which transformed a dull wall into a work of art. The project started with the children completing paintings and drawings of Noah's Ark to drum up inspiration for the mosaic characters.

Recently Jean has been working with Manchester Youth Offending team working on a number of projects in various mediums. The group of youngsters she is currently working with have formed a Wednesday night club where they created their first mosaic masterpiece. This was donated to a residential home for the elderly during an afternoon tea event held in thanks to the club members.
